I mean to hedge arvind 210 put nd 240 calleither may or june series..as I have seen in last 2 years there were 2 stocks such as frl( on which I suffer huge loss)nd wipro was on bonous issues were fall 60 pct in 1 months

Sir,
I am thinking for a investment of Rs. 3000-4000 as SIP for another 12-24 months which shares I can prefer. I am looking as a long term investments for minimum 5-7 years.
CB, replies: Hi Chacko, would advice to go for a mutual fund instead. will have exposure to quality stocks and also give better returns

So 8280 held !!
What a relief ! I was scared stiff when market went to 8280 within minutes of opening . Thank the bulls who bought courageously there since everyone was waiting for the breaking of 8300 .
The bears must be a disappointed lot today .
But can we say the bulls are out of the woods and now getting past 8450 and onto 8550 - 8650 in June seems more certain ?

Holding SBI short and rolled over to June series. fearing RBI MEET can I go long in bank nifty for hedge and in case any rate cut then will help to cut loss?

CB, replies: Hi jai, ok. bank nifty is going a bit strong expecting a rate cut. even if there is a rate cut, chances are it will open gap up and profit booking will kick in. lets hold for now. can hedge with a 290ce for now (june)
