Hi Jai
Forget Longs . Bears are just waiting to pounce on any 50 - 100 point rally . All rallies from here are going to be " Sucker's rally " that will suck in innocent people . Every 50 - 100 point rally will be followed by a 200 - 300 points fall . So beware . In looking for a small bounce in ICICI from 305 to 320 you will lose 310 to 290 . Forget longs for the next 2 -3 months . Every rally from here on will be a " dead cat bounce "
That said 8000 Nifty is psychologically very important level to defend and DII's will put in all the money they have to defend this . You will see lot of to-ing and fro-ing around 8000 but once it breaks 8000 you will have a vertical drop to 7600 . So watch out bro !

Thanks for the message. I was just expecting when TV experts are saying as sell on every rise, (and we people struck with short) there will be a rally. I agree with your point that 8000 stands as a strong barrier for the bears to power.
Just confused whether to go short when nifty has corrected so much in short span or to go long expecting any bounce from here.
