I bought cox and kings 20 shares on 15th. I sold the share on 18th. But I received a Shortage memo from Broker saying that i did not delivered the 20 shares. Broker told that we can sell the shares on next day also. Suppose i sell the stocks on next day means i may get trouble of shortage memo if it is not delivered to me on 3rd day. I want to know is that i should not sell the stock until i get to DP account? If i sell means i am taking risk of it. Please help me in this.
CB, replies: Hi karthick, yes, usually there is a risk if sell stocks before you get them in your demat account. you won't be fined for it
