something seems to have happened today between 11 and 1pm as most scrips show a sharp rise - what is the cause?

& Then they subsequently fell. This is how markets work my friend(Mr. Mahesh). We scratch our heads for a reasoning & the answer still evades us. But seriously, the only purpose of rising was to facilitate shorting for the operators.
