Hello Mr CB / Mr kartik
If you look at the 4 Month daily chart of PSU banks then :
- SBI & BOB are trading way way above the 200 DMA
- PNB has just broken out of the 200 DMA
- Bank of India and Canara bank Union bank are just attempting a break out
- Uco bank is way way below the 200 DMA

In such a scenario is it best to buy :
The strongest ( SBI / BOB ) but which already look overbought
OR PNB which just confirmed a break -out so has some room yet .
Or BOI / Canara / Union which has much more upside room to catch up if they do actually confirm a break - out ?
CB, replies: Hi AMBI, yes. pnb did give a breakout above 1005 levels. BOI and canara bank are a buy above resistance levels. have been witnessing selling pressure near 295-300 and 410-420 levels.

One more question .
PNB after the very strong break out it has given ( from 1000 to 1072 in a single day !) how does one plan an entry in it ? Monday could be a so - so day but Tuesday will decide the fate of PSU banks...
Scenario 1 )
Rate cut comes and PNB goes to 1100 then I am sure one should not chase it . But then you wait for a dip to what level ? 5 DMA or 10 DMA ? Even 5 DMA is at 1000 . Will even 5 DMA ever come if it starts rallying ?
Scenario 2 )
Rate cut does not come and PNB tanks to 1030 - 0r 1020 . Then is the break-out aborted or is it actually an opportunity to go long ?
