I missed out asking....is it worth holding shorts till nov-dec expiry and wait for nifty to peak out and consolidate to get back the 8400 levels??

sir i have a question which i want to clarify from you, sir suppose i have purchased any share in cash with intraday point of view but till the end i could not make any profit so i want to take it as a delivery so that i will sell it after some days when i feel like. so my question is is it possible to do like this

Nobody told us that SBI will give us the kind of rally it did !
:(
And only yesterday I was talking of buying Nifty puts ! Stupid me !

What do you do when a heavyweight like SBI goes up 6 % . Obviously wait for a dip to enter . But what level of dip will be good enough ? I am just wringing my hands in despair .
or is it better to go for any other PSU bank that has not yet gone up ?
