HI CHIRAG,,,,Torrent Power, promoted by the Rs. 45 billion Torrent Group has announced its unaudited results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 209.53 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 against Rs 107.51 crore in the year-ago period, a growth of 94.89%.

Total income has increased by 26.10% to Rs 1459.86 crore from Rs 1157.67 crore, on a year-on-year (YoY) basis.

On a consolidated basis, the Group’s net profit registered a whopping growth of 95.02% at Rs 209.67 crore during the quarter from Rs 107.51 crore reported in the same quarter of the last fiscal.

Total income of the Group for the latest quarter increased to Rs 1459.86 crore against 1157.67 crore in a year ago period, up by 26.10%.

As i told u before; I want to buy techtran polylenses and i notice it has already risen over 50% last week. I don't know about any inside news and they too say they either don't have such info or didn't ask such questions when asked to invest around 8-11 levels by their brokerages (small time broker offices in hyderabad-hyderabad based scrip).
