You have been talking of a post Diwali sell off . Where do you see the sell off halting or taking support . 7720 - 7780 like last time or this time we will break down even lower .
I respect your experience and market wisdom but looking at the Nifty weekly chart which shows a nascent recovery white candle somehow I dont feel convinced about your sell - off predictions . Pl dont mind .

I take your call of a post - Diwali sell off seriously . Therefore inspite of Holding longs in Auro Pharma , LIC hsg Fin etc etc I am going to hedge with Nifty 7900 puts for November beginning Monday ( or should I wait for 8100 spot ? )
However pl let me know if this sell - off that you are expecting is on account of expiry ( say lasting till thursday + 2 -3 days say 7- 10 days ) or do you expect the sell-off to be prolonged lasting 2-3 months ?

According to me a proper correction should take Nifty to 7200 if not 7000 and so a sell - off till 7600 can only be expiry related .
For Nifty 7000 - 7200 Dow has to start collapsing and there are , for now , no signs yet .
