Hi cb, today purchased small qty of colgate / unitech /idfc. all are in loss.
Kindly suggest me which one to keep for delivery and which one to sell in loss in intraday.

Sir, if I buy a share n my target is for that share only 5 paise, [suppose currently trading on buy price 10.05, sale price 10.1, I bought it at 10.05, my target for selling is 10.1] if d sale order at 10.1 doesnt get executed n trading dips on buy side 10 n sale side 10.05 will it hit my stop loss order at 10.05 which was my buy price, so that I incur no loss .
[is it possible to place stop loss sale order at current market buy price?]

Sir ,
I was away from the market on personal work between 1 and 3 pm and on my return was shocked to see it down by almost 300 points and PNB down to 486 at one stage though its a minor consolation that now it is 496 down just a few rupees .
Had i been on the system i would have panicked and sold off at 486 but your advise of HOLD seems to have merit .
But after the carnage of today is it still a HOLD ? and what should be our STOP LOSS since now that seems very necessary .

CB. Tata steel from 318 yesterday to 301 today!!!! Would it start its descent??? I do not want to hold it for another 6 months !! Do you see it going up in the next few days so that I can exit this great stock

Right CB. would hold as suggested. By the way exited Inox at 73.75... Had held for around 6 months for a profit of 600 bucks!!!! Nevertheless atleast the principal stayed its course.....You had suggested resistance at 74 and it did respect the resistance.Thanks for the exit price suggestion.Have a great evening!!
