bought 200 Biocon @344 for short term for a target of 360. Now biocon has come down. Can you advise me what to do, hold or exit? any chance of going up within 2-3 days?
Holding 4 lots 5700 CE @ 36/-. Before going to further dip do you think it may bounce back before end August ? Awaiting your suggestion

hi.on monday nifty will go atleast 100 points more down,because in international usd/inr pair was trading at 62.75 ,on monday rupee will break friday low of 62,impact will be seen on nifty

hi cb, hod does one go about shorting if one does not have the stock? please explain ho to get that service? is it derrivatives?
Kartik, replies: Hi alay, Yes, its in cash as well as in futures, instead of buying a stock first, you sell it, provided your broker grants you access to this (most of them do). In case of cash, when you short a stock, you need to sell it on the same day. in case of futures, you can sell the stock and hold the short for a couple of days. Shorting is mainly does in futures, as you can hold the short for a couple of days

Sir, I have noticed tht in BSE, stocks are often traded at fractions, suppose I put fraction order in NSE, for say, I limit a sell order at 11.12 and the scrip just touches 11.15 in NSE, will it execute my order at 11.12? [often I see that even if my order is placed at the amount which is currently traded at, but the orders are not executed]
Kartik, replies: Hi Parthas, Yes, stocks in BSE often have low values, the prices of the exchanges are mostly close to each other, but to be able to sell a stock a particular level, buyer's for same should be avaliable
