Hi Balaji, Nifty faces strong support at 5980, can be shorted if we break that

Hi,
I was looking at Nifty futures data.
The Open Interest stands as of today at 93,78,800.
Did a quick check of previous months in which none of the months have such low OI one day prior to expiry.
What does this signify ?
Kartik, replies: Hi Nirav, OI cannot be completely relied on, would be better if you kept a track of basic support/resistnce levels for Nifty

Oh yeah, right. Just read that RBI had announced some money tightening measures in view of the falling rupee. It also made funds available to the banks less. Hence the banks fell this way.
