Kartik, replies: Hi Sagar, its short selling, you first sell the stock at higher levels and then buy it at lower levels, its mostly done in futures, in which you can sell the stock and hold the sell stock for a couple of days and then buy it, in case of Cash markets, you need to buy the stock on the same day
