hi cb, but with the help of open interest can we judge the move of a stock: for example that particular stock will move up or down?can u please explain.

CB, replies: Hi som, if OI is rising and stock price is increasing, it means stock is likely to move much higher in short term and if OI is increasing when stock is coming down, then it means stock can see some downside in short term.

    Dear CB,

    Will Nifty touch 5500.

It is correcting regularly after a rise.

This indicates we would be seeing a new highs shortly.

    What is your opinion?

    Regards,

Kartik, replies: Hi chandra shekar, dont enter anything now, wait for some time, It would be good to book profits on Tuesday

    Hi cb/kartik,

got a small concern. u update the oversold stocks after the market hours. stocks with rsi 30 or less are bouncing back sharply the next as soon as the market opens. if the market opens down we'll able to pick the stocks. but if d market opens flat also the stocks see a rocking bounce back atleast 5-6% up. in that case we are unable to buy them. is it possible to update the oversold stock b4 the markets close or else can u suggest some alternative for this.

Also please update this column. when you update the oversold stocks please update the stocks that are likely to bounce first. i mean the priority of the stocks that are likely to bounce first once the market recovers.

    thanks
    ashok

Kartik, replies: Hi ashok, The Overbought and Oversold stocks are calculated using the RSI formula(14 days), these are automatically update around 5:30 pm daily. The reason being that we use the EOD directly from the NSE website. You may consider buying a Oversold stock if it shows a breakout in its volume and vice versa
