Hi, I want to know how to calculate the "Long straddle".
Please guide me how to reach the pay off from put sold is 12500.
Check the below table
Example: Buy 1 Call and Buy 1 Put Option at same strike
BankNifty Spot Price (A) 8900
Call and Put strike price(B) 9000
Call premium( C) 100
Put premium(D) 200
Upper BEP( B+C+D) 9300
Lower BEP(B - (C+D)) 8700
BankNifty Expiry Pay off from call brought Pay off from put sold Net Pay off
8300 -2500 12500 10000
Please guide how to reach the 12500 is the pay off from put sold.

CB, replies: Hi pooja1981, no, dont go short on it yet. with crude prices rising it may do well. sbi if continues to hold onto support of 1900 can see a good bounce.
