respected sir i have some position in nifty bought 6000 put dec 2013 at 420 and sold 6000 put july 2013 at 400 should i hold this position????

Hello kartik, holding bgr@172 and hind copper @ 155. want to switch to another stock which will surely deliver good returns in next 2-3 years. kindly suggest??

Sir ,
With your wealth of experience can you kindly guide me which among the following has the highest probability of being the future course for NIFTY :
1) NIFTY takes support around 5500 give or take 50 points and rises back to 6000 + in the next 3-4 months
2 ) NIFTY takes support around 5500 give or take 50 points and meanders in the range between 5500 - 5850 for the next 6 months or till the elections
3 ) NIFTY breaks 5500 finally and we slide / waterfall to 5200 - 5100 or maybe even lower and NIFTY stays sub 5000 till the elections .

Dear Kartik,
Good Evening, I had Chambal Fert. 100nos @53/-, it is continuously falling. It seems 29.35/- is the 5Yr low. Shall I wait or sell. Please advice.

Thanks for your reply . I think it is now almost everybody's understanding that if NIFTY breaks 5500 which is a strong support then we will fall to 5100- 5200 . But my question to you was what is your gut feel , with your wealth of experience in the market whether 5500 will hold or will break . Just your gut feel .
I know i am asking you to stick your neck out for something that can go either way , just wanted to benefit from your long experience and plan to add a few longs around 5500 knowing fully well that we need to exit if it does not hold .
I have come to trust you since you advised me correctly about avoiding longs in LIC Housing Finance ( strong resistance at 270 was your advise when it was 263 ) and your advise to avoid longs in Dr Reddys ( strong resistance at 2130 was your advise at 2120 ) . I have exited both longs and benefitted from your correct advises .
Hence my desire to fall back on your advise at this confusing 5500 level !
Pl help .

Kartik, replies: Hi Bob, Rcom above 110 looks good, can be entered with a SL at 109 for a few days, Asian paints can be shorted if it breaks 4450 (support)
