Hi CB, I was checking option price calculator on one of the sites. It asked me to feed data like (Strike price, Underlying price, Time to expiration in days, Volatility (%) and Annual Interest Rate (%).
I did not follow what to put in volatility and annual interest rate columns. Please advise.
Stock prices keep on changing everyday and with random (% changes). How then can we put only one no. in volatility column and do we have to put previous day's volatility every time in option calculator?

Hi,
Some brokings personnel insist to sell on rally and their views towards negative, would you expect the same?? If yes then what will be the maximum dip in nifty for up to July expiry.
So many scripts on long (july expiry) , i can bear the loss if nifty goes another 100 points down, but I cant more than 100. Please advise if here is a view of strong bearish against nifty, so that I can exit most of the script on early nifty rise.
Is there any clue for positive trend at the moment??
Dlf, jpa, L & T , tata motor, Havells , Dr.reddy, ipca lab, sun pharma, lic housing finance, and tata power. Airtel and Pantaloon. (All hold) most of listed companies given heavy loss.
Want to to know should hold or exit.

Kartik, replies: Hi kodees, we would see some more short covering upto 5690 lvls, It would be better to exit your future longs on rise and trade in cash instead for a couple of months until Markets settle

Hi Kartik, there was information regarding these terms but there was no specific information.
I am not sure what to put in say annual interest rate column. Could you please advise coz I think that we have to put India's annual interest rate (some India's 10 year gov. Bond)?

CB, replies: Hi shivasri, hold it with a SL at 342, 360 acts as its strong resistance level, above which it can see 380+ lvls in the Short run

Holding 1500 SBIN @2335 & 500 YESBK @515. Is it better to exit from SBIN and YESBK at CMP for the time being to re-enter at lower level when market will settled down ???

YES, I AM READY TO HOLD FOR LONG TERM (10-12 MONTHS), BUT DON"T HAVE ANY FUND FOR AVERAGING, SO WHAT TO DO ??

I am holding ITC long in futures, what target should i expect on Monday? Can i hold till expiry for a target above 330?
CB, replies: Hi Me, its likely to trade flat tomorrow, hold it with a SL at 318 for a target of 330 in 1-2 weeks, it can add some gains ahead if Markets manage to trae strong

GOOD EVN CB... HAVING HUGE LOSS in FRL LONG@ 119.50.. JUNE FO.. do u think it will bounce back to 120 level till expiry?DUE TO DEMERGER frl can go down more? as 3 shares oof frl will b converted into 1 fril share.. plz suggest waht to do . and how to cover loss?
