I purchased 100 shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank in 1996.Later I got 100 more shares as bonus, then I purchased 50 shares as rights issue in year 2000. My total spending from year 1996 to 2000 was Rs. 15000. Now I hold 2500 shares because of consecutive bonuses of 1:1, then 2:3. Then the stock was split 1:1. I have a long term view on the stock, considering the elections are coming in near future, should I offload half of the shares? Or should I hold all? Please advise.
