Hi Karthik,how do you see the markets reacting to the budget snippets which are out today... Most of the news seems to be negative like higher taxes,gold import restrictions etc.. I hold TechM at 1035 nd would like to exit a bit safely. already it closed around 1028 and have lost around 2k. Do not want to lose more....Pl advise

I have a query about how intraday or delivery income is taxed. If I solely depend upon intraday or delivery trading for living, how much is the tax percent. As i have heard it is 30 percent. Is there any exemption, or total earned income is taxed. I have also regular monthly income income of 10,000 by employment. As I got lot of confusion in this regard, I have posted here as I found this site was very helpful to me in terms of trading. Please guide me genuinely in this matter.
