Sir, im already holding HATHWAY at 270, SPECIALITY at 190, PARABDRUGS at 19.25..... But all stocks come down....plz give ur comments..........Can i exit from Parabdrugs ????
CB, replies: Hi CHANCHAL SAHA, not really sure whats the news on parabolic drugs. for now these are a hold. fundamentally are sound bets. will recover back once markets improve. dont add more of these yet

CB..Seems Zeodha is not having a branch in Chennai and as per its site there is no info on mobile trading too..Can you pls suggest some other one too ?

Considering that I have Longs in ZEE@235, BOI @351, TATA GLOBAL @164
Should i Start Shorting the market as a hedge ??? Should i do it by NIFTY OR BANK NIFTY?? Like short one at 5900 then 5950 and add at 6000 if we reach there??? Since, if the market falls i can easily loose 30- 40 K as mark to margin???
Or few positional shorts trades like YES BANK/CIPLA/BOB/CANARA BANK???
Kartik, replies: Hi Pooja1981, would be better to keep SL's if trading in futures or options as they can be very risky to hold, for now enter a Pe on Nifty and Tata global for a couple of days

I have taken 300 put option in cairn and 460 put in hul. Need to recover 10 k loss I made today. Do you think holding these2 options till expiry will help recover the loss.

Sir pls suggest what has to be done as i had bought dish tv feb futures @ 74.05. As of today it has come down to 68. I am still holding onto the longs as i did not anticipate that dish would fall so much. Now in huge loss. Pls advise what needs to be done now? Should i hedge it if so pls suggest what to hedge it with and if i need to average it @ what rate should i average it.

hi, i need to know that while investing in option, even tho the market price is same (eg. LIC HF), the value get decrease in option. what is the reason behind that.
Eg, I took call option in LIC @250 ( the call option shows 4.70), but next day when it come to 256 and EOD 251, the call option shows 4.3 why it is happening like this. More over after 3 weeks when the market value shows 250, the call option shows 0.50.
Just need to know how option (call and put) works. Pls advice. Thanks in advance.
Kartik, replies: Hi Girish, Yes, this is known as the decay factor, if you enter a 250 CE and the stock contines to trade at 240 till the month end the value of the call decreases until its 0 on expiry as its not reached 250 lvls
