HI ALL,
i am a 3month's old trader in market... i am using HDFC securities.. today i am shocked as they are not showing my 500 karuturi shares in demat balances.. its there in portfolio... i didnt sell today... how can it happen?? isnt it safe to use online services?? or it might be temperory prob which will be solved by tomorrow morning..
pls share ur views

500 karuturi is not credited to ur account, because some time share not get , in that case exchange will give amount (its called auction) to u, that amount is greater than ur buy value. you will get it within 2-4 days

hi shiva,
dont worry about this. this is very normal.normally it takes 3 to 5 days for the shares to get credited into the dmat account. In india we still follow T+5 settlement. The shares will come in ur demat account within 5 days. However u are free to trade your share anytime although it might not be in your dmat account.
