Holding Nifty Short bit tensed as whenever i had hold onto shorts the markets rally like anything the next day. Even today European markets are trading quite high

hi CB/karthik.... good evening... today i sorted stock and forgot to buy it back..... so what is the maximum we can loose in auction... when it will be settled...... please advise on it.... i am really woried....
