Hi Lalith, no, you need to exit today. if you continue to hold u will be fined 20% of total investment by your broker. you can hold short positions only in futures, not cash market.

U mean after fine is levied it will be sent for auction and then will be bought at that particular price and profits and losses incur to me accordingly ?
Kartik, replies: Hi Lalith, yes. it depends on broker to broker as to how much they charge as fine. it will be squared off at the rate it trades on 3rd day around 1-2pm
