Hello cb, i started my mutual fund investment(without any knowledge at that time) in 2007-2008.
sbi contra fund 10000Rs -- todays value 9105
sbi midcap fund 10000Rs -- todays value 6710
sbi tax gain 30000Rs -- todays value 31000
After 5 years today also it is very much down.
May i sell it and put it in fixed deposit for next 5 years???

Dear CB,
Good Evening! I had asked you about HDIL and you said it is a good idea to buy as it can head upto 90. I would want to buy it's call instead of the future as that works out cheaper. So is it good to go in for a lot of it's CE 90? Will the volumes and movement be good enough? Please advise.
