Dear CB,
What are your thoughts on Polaris? Has it broken it's resistance of 120/121? It has closed higher today. Is it a good time to buy one lot of it's JULY future tomorrow? If so, please suggest target and SL.

Sir, whats your opinion on buying call and put of same strike price.. Is it worth if hold till expiry???
eg: If market moves up, can we make money from call even if put goes worthless???

Hi deepu, Buying call and put of the same strike price when stock or index is hovering near the strike price is known as straddle. The cost of aquisition of straddle will decide your breakeven levels. This strategy will only be effective if you are expecting a major move of about 8 to 10% or more. Otherwise you will loose the entire premiums in both directions by expiry.
