hi CB / Kartik …can u be kind to pl explain what is pivot point and how it is used ?
and also is tata motors going to move up in next week or move down? i have shares at 594
CB, replies: Hi Arvinder, its a technical term. one can buy a stock once it crosses the pivot point or sell a stock if it goes below the pivot point. for more details pls visit: http://www.investopedia.com/articles/technical/04/041404.asp and http://www.pivotpointcalculator.com/ tata motors has good support at 580..can see 620 if markets remain positive.

Hi samibroker, yes. hold onto it.. it can see 460 in short term.
Hi saravan, happy Dussera.. Satyam has some resistance at 120-125 levels..above this it will do well. Adlabs is also a hold.. should be able to cross 370 once nifty shows some recovery.

cb i dont have any knowledge in this market.
1.what is dividend?for ex pghh announced dividend@225% % ex date is 29-9-09.If we buy this stock what will happen?sorry for giving u trouble
CB, replies: Hi santosh, its means you will get 225% of the face value of the stock. if you have 100 stocks and face value of the stock is 10 then you will get then you would get 11.5rs per share which amounts to 1150rs in total as dividend. you need to buy stocks before the dividend is declared. if you buy now you wont get it.

Yesterday there was move in fertilizer shares let me know which one is good to buy on tuesday with target for each in a 5 days time comparatively .
