i m facing a problem on NSE GUIDE SITE.. latest queries are not getting updated.. i hv to click on intra day call then only i can see new queries/... anyone ELSE FACING SAME PROBLEM?
CB, replies: Hi SS-JJ, if you purchased a stock at 100rs and its price has been falling continuously to and has reached 95, and if you think that the stock could see some more downside, say upto 92, you could enter a short and book profits in the short at 92 rs (now if the stock continues to go down, you wont be in further loss (the loss of your previous long)). This technique is known a hedging and could help you to minimise some of your losses

sorry to disturb u again KARTIK... but my doubtsstill not clear.... let me refer to POOJA1981' query.. time 4.18pm 20th june.... she says she is holding CENTURY LONG AND SHORT BOTH.... this is whats confusing me.. how is it possible to hold both long and short of same month?same stock?
