GOOD EVEN KARTIK... a real bad day for me.... was not able to exit century at 280 levels ( ur sl) .. it went up all the way to 291.00.. a big loss .. what r my chances for century265-264?..shld i hold short or book loss tmrw opening . as it may move up further?

another query... while going thru other queries... i read someone holding both short and long of the same script.. how is it possible? it has to b of two diffrent months?

Thanks, Kartik. I was going through Educomp. It appears to be a good bet. The red line is cutting the blue line from below and the MACD is also favorable plus it has formed a long white candle today. Your comments with SL and target.

OK.. but i will appreciate if u can explain it a little...
CB, replies: Hi SS-JJ, if you purchased a stock at 100rs and its price has been falling continuously to and has reached 95, and if you think that the stock could see some more downside, say upto 92, you could enter a short and book profits in the short at 92 rs (now if the stock continues to go down, you wont be in further loss (the loss of your previous long)). This technique is known a hedging and could help you to minimise some of your losses
