Dear Mukul,
Let me try and answer your question to some extent. The call/put value is not a direct calculation of strike price - current spot price. It also is dependent on a few other values like the time value and volatility value. So if the strike price is 850 and the spot price is 800, it does not mean that the value of the CE / PE will be 50. It could be different.
Time value keeps getting reduced as the days progress and the volatility value keeps changing depending on the volatility of the spot price of the scrip.
So essentially the answer to your question is NO. It is not a direct calculation like that. Hope you get it.
Thanks,
Kris

Dear CB,
2 queries:
1: I have Relcap's MAY CE 320 bought at 8.95. It is now 0.60 :(. What to do with it tomorrow?
2. Is it a good idea to trade with May futures or June futures tomorrow?
Please advise.
Thanks,
Kris
