Sir, iwanted to know from you that in inraday can i sell any script without holding it with me or before buying,
if yes , then what will happen if i sell the script and later on i didnt buy it. please advise me in detail.

CB, replies: Hi mona, yes, in in cash segment it is allowed only for intraday. if you do not cover the same day, there are heavy penalty charges.. you can sell a stock for short term only in futures segment

I have been holding 700 GVK @ 19.8 from past 8 mnths.

SBT has announced an interim dividend of Rs 16/share with ex date and record date fixed on 29mar and 30mar 2012 respectively and the dividend paymet date is 10th Apr.If i sell the shares after 30 march,will i get the dividend warrant?
