HI CB
I AM STILL HOLDING HCL INFO, TODAY WAS THE PAYMENT DATE OF DIVIDEND,
MY FRIENDS GOT THE DIVIDED,BUT I DIDN'T GOT ANY, ARE YOU SURE THAT I AM ELIGIBLE FOR THE DIVIDED AS MY BUYING DATE WAS 7 TH FEB,AND RECORD DATE WAS 8 TH
MY FRIENDS WERE SAYING THAT I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE DIVIDEND BECAUSE THE SHARE IS NOT IN MY DP A/C,SHOULD I CONTINUE TO HOLD IT

PLEASE REPLY TO MY QUERY

Hi akhil, we will need to avg it or enter a put to bring down the cost price. for now hold it. if nifty trades above 5420 for few min after opening tomorrow, enter a 85 call for quick gains

so to get dividend ,one should but the shares 2 days before record date
please clarify
