Hi CB,
I have a dumb question as I am not a pro with it yet.
BHEL is expected to announce a dividend today. Assume it indeed does that, and I have quite a few of BHEL shares. How and when will I get the dividend? Will it be cash or in form of stocks..
Also, if I sell BHEL after 1-2 days of dividend being announced, will I still get the dividend or someone who bought them from me will get it?
I would appreciate if you can clear this for me. :)

CB, replies: Hi Sahil, yes, if dividend is good, it could move higher. to get the dividend, you will have to hold it till the record date
