Hi CB,
I have bought NHPC 9000 shares at Rs 25 three months back since then the stock has fallen considerably to a level of 17.50. I paitently waited till now and expected this Qtr result would be good so that I can get my price level. But post result it seems topline is good but bottomline has come lower. I have shorted the call 22.50 @ 50 paise.
Pl suggest what additional strategy/approach need to be followed to recover my loss. I am having the following ideas in my mind.
a) sell entire stock at current level and bought back around 17.50 level
b) go short in next month future
c) Should I wait till my stock purchase price comes.
CB, replies: Hi rajesh, hold the short on CE with a SL at 21.50, it looks weak overall and might take a while to recover, hold your stocks for Short/mid term

Dear Sir, I am having below observations for NIFTY :-
5/11/2010 6339 High (1st)
26/11/2010 5690 Low (1st)
31/12/2010 6147 High (2nd)
11/2/2011 5178 Low (2nd)
5/4/2011 5929 High (3rd)
20/6/2011 5196 Low (3rd)
8/7/2011 5740 High (4th)
26/8/2011 4720 Low (4th)
1/11/2011 5311 High (5th)
19/12/2011 4556 Low (5th)
27/1/2012 5217 High (CMP / 6th)
Nifty is continuosly forming lower top and lower bottom , according to this if nifty
is unable to cross it's previos high (i.e. 5311) . Then it may go below 4556 to form next lower bottom . Please advice if the observation is ok .

I have bought 500 NTPC shares around 157. Post results, Analysts are saying the results are below estimates. What is price target for short term and aswell pl tell me to hold or sell the entire stock.

HI CB,
If NIFTY opens lower near 5160 (SGX is at 5170) , and then start to recover.....should i exit my one bank nifty short and hold the other.......or continue to hold them for a lower target in coming days????
Also 5100 PE @ 80...when to exit...? should i hold till expiry?? due to european crisis can we see 4800 levels?
