I have shorted nifty futures at 5135. Do you suggest to hold it or square it tomorrow morning and switch to Nifty long.

i am confusing the term of long and short,
CB, replies: Hi jk, long means you buy a stock. if price moves higher, you are in profit. short (only applicable in futures market), is done when you sell a stock first, if price comes down then you are in profit, else loss.

Target foe Sesa Goa and s/l pl.
The fear is if i go long now....and markets starts to correct???
Is it better to go long in some banking stock?? If it corrects then i have the two bank nifty shorts for it?
