CB..
My broker is saying that i have done 5000 shares of short sell and now these will go in to auction.. what is this auction si all about and how it works... i didnt do any thing but still he is saying that it happened and it will result in some penalty... i sold them around 101.5 and now it is trading around 102.2 .... if it gets covered now i willl get less loss only...
Kartik, replies: Hi mark, if you sell a stock in cash Market and forget to cover it in intraday, then its sent for auction, in which you stocks will be re-bought by the system on the 3rd day
