I am new to this short selling.I never done that.I want to know how to do the short selling.I heard there are two types one is intra day and other in on delivery basic.
Can u provide me any material on that. And tell me if I short a stock on particular day and buy it after 4-5 days ,is it possible?
CB, replies: Hi sukhpal, short selling is strictly done in intraday when trading in equity. if you do not cover it up the same day, penalty charges are high. if you want to sell a stock and hold for few days, its possible in futures market only
