what is mean by pledged shares in a share holding paten?
how it use for finding a good stock
CB, replies: Hi eky, Its when promoters give their shares as guarantee to raise money for the company. Usually stock corrects after news of promoters pledging a share as its not positive for a company. hope this helps: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/pledge
