Dear sir good morning i want to ask as knowledge pt of view suppose i sell nifty call option of 5100 (i haven bought earlier) today for 2.65rs so till expiry 29 dec suppose nifty will not reach to this or even go dn to 4300 then it is compulsory to square means i have to buy it if i fail to buy then what will be result whether i will get profit or loss
CB, replies: Hi Mak, Good morning.. if you sell the nifty 5100 at a higher level, then its price will come down if nifty falls. in this case its treated as a short sell and you will be at a profit. you need to square off around 1-2rs. if 0 then you may face some penalty charges.

Exited NIFTY 4700 PE in morning at 128 .......:( now 150
