How to handle a long strangle??do you book the loss in the one which fails and hold on to the profit making call or put?? or do you hold both till the expiry to see the results? how to go about a long or short strangle??
Kartik, replies: Hi Abhishek, it mainly depends on the stock levels you are following, if the stock has broken its support level and you are long in it, it would be bettter to exit and enter a PE, but if stock is trading above its support levels and see some profit booking due to Markets being weak, you can enter a Pe for some quick gains (but holding the long until the support is broken or the SL is met)

shld i book at opening or hold till rbi announcement?

noss....i enterred JSWsteel put 23 when trde at 526....now 13 any hope onthis..also holding LT 1300 call at 34 now 2 rs and DCB 40 call at 1.80 now .50 any hope before expiry or cut tomw if any upmove
