I have recently got my demat account. buying stocks and taking delivery under cash buy is not a problem. I m confused how to do intraday as i have never done it before.
Q1) How do i first sell in the morning and later buy in the evening ?
Q2) Do i have to buy it by the same evening? What is the max period by when i need to buy whether i make loss or profit ?
Kartik, replies: Hi Swathi Desai, if you are trading in cash, then you need to cover the short (sold in the morning), buy it back before 3pm, holding short position for more than a day is allowed only in Futures segement
