The Union Finance Ministry is reportedly considering trimming the STT (Securities Transaction Tax) and might also propose giving some concession on stamp duty to be paid on equity deals.
Well, in the wake of the ongoing gloom and doom surrounding the eurozone debt problems and US political gridlock over budget cuts, there is some good news for Indian stock market.
