I find there has been some consolidation in Nifty last Friday.Though it is a red candle, the opening and closing were pretty close to each other which could mean that neither the bulls nor the bears have had much of a success in driving the market in either direction. This can, I believe, be a sign of some marginal retracement in the present downtrend. Added tot this, the fast stochastics in the NSEGUIDE chart shows a possible short term trend reversal.(But the weekly and monthly charts are still very bearish.)
So how many of us would agree with me if I say, on Monday, at some point, Nifty will come to a level higher than Friday's open of 4859?

Hi roopesh, both are in a downtrend. don't enter these yet. if markets improve, its possible they see a 5-7% bounce. but selling pressure is likely to resume on rise.
Hi roopesh, yes, fundamentally its a strong bet. enter in small quantity for now
Hi Paul, yes. a small bounce is likely in near term considering the recent fall. possibly test 4950

Hi CB/ Kartik. Am holding 305 shares Tata Motors @ Avg 1052. I didnt have the heart to put in stop loss and exit when the bears hammerd it each day by 3-5% last month. For the simple reason that I have Seen TML go from 200 to 1200, 2 yrs ago- and made a killing then.I guess, I made a poor decision-miracles dont happen twice. How long before I can recover my principal Sir

have 500 shares of axis bank bought in April 2010 for Rs. 1200. I should have sold them at around Rs. 1600 when the scrip peaked in Oct 2010. However I missed the opportunity and now the share is back to 1068 levels. Pl advise how long I should wait for the scrip to touch atleast Rs. 1400 levels. I am not in urgency to sell immediately.
