thanks CB - I will get information regarding penalty of broker but does exchange charges us penalty in such cases...will the stock be auctioned tomorrow...or a day later.

yes, it is auctioned off the 3rd day as settlement in cash is T+2 days. But, as the position is short in cash, it had to be squared off by the closing on the same day.

what shud be the entry point for Delta Corp for delivery in cash. I found that its volume is much higher than the average volume, and its well above the 50 & 200DMAs.
So, what is ur advise for a positional trade? Pls give target and SL

i want to know the meaning of "Cost of carrying" ? in this respect, what does positive and negative CoC? Which one should be looked into when making trades or investments?
