Hi test, yes, options are always a high risk bet. also with markets not really going anywhere in last couple of months, trading has been difficult. would advice not to trade completely in options. you always need to hedge them. if planning to go long, enter a future and hdge it with a put. this will help reduce losses in case markets move in the opposite directions. of now hold them for 1-2 days. keep sl at 5450 on nifty

HI arun bj.. I PREFER FUTURES TO options... options r more risky.. specially if u fail to get out at... right time... if we hv margin money i prefer gOing for futres in good scripts.. wE HV an option of rolling over too.. KARTIK/ CB r right if we manage to hedge futre with a put.. risk becomes lesser.. hope i can make myself more disciplined and trade less as per C.B' s advise...thnx C.B.
