Hi CB,
I am a newbie.
What according to you are the definitions for Short, Medium and Long terms?
(In terms of Months)
Also, say, i have invested for long term in an equity, but i get the expected returns in a week's time, should i sell the same and invest in others?

CB, replies: Hi AK, yes..if you are getting good returns one should book profits.. short term is 1-2 months, med term 5-6 months and long term is over a yr

Cheers CB! I will give an instance. let me know what should be done when you say booking profits in this situation - i had bought IFCI 100 @ 53.5 two days ago (for medium term), and now it is 58.65 (Over 10% returns). Please advice.

hii cb.. i expect market to open in green tomorrow(may be 150 or 100 points up)..i am thinking of shorting relcap ,jpasso for intraday trading.. whats ur say????
CB, replies: Hi joginder, one can go short near 4750 on nifty. sell with a strict sl at 4765.. some selling pressure is likely to be seen there.
