Dear Sir,
I am a 24 year old HR professional , working with an MNC.
I am very keen to invest in shares though have some basic knowledge because of my
Management education. I would like to start with an investment of Rs 10000 that to for
Long term (2-3 Yrs).I have identified few stocks to start with which are less than Rs100 so that at least I can buy 100 share:
Dabur India
Dena Bank
I want to diversify into two segments (Bank+fmcg/Consumer)
Please advise me on the above mentioned stock keeping all the factors handy and what
Would be the expected return after 24 months. Also suggest me good stocks.
Can you please suggest me a good book from CNBC for young starters like me.

CB, replies: Hi vibhor, dabur and Dena are good bets. but dabur being a defensive stock,. is a slow mover. go with DCB in the banking sector and something like an Gillette of ITC from the fmcg space. . these are good bets and can double in long term. as of now not really aware of any book from the CNBC. you can download an ebook on technical analysis from here: http://www.4shared.com/file/lfWzmGt8/tech_books.html
