Kartik..no no..I meant for buying option we need just normal money.. But for shorting the options...(selling and then buying ) we need more margin right? I was asking how much more margin do we require?

Kartik, MY IIFL broker told me that we can buy and sell options in normal way but to short(selling and then buying) we need bigger margin than actual price... why is this so?
Kartik, replies: Hi Shiva, oh yes, sorry, when you sell at a lower rate for eg, sometimes there are chances that your short might go up, so when you again buy it, it would need a higher amount

Any chance of delisting Acropetal ? recommend dividend , so is it a hold ? or sell ?

HI Kartik, I exit today from unitech just before mkt close and entered punjlloyd ..[long ,in june series ].. shall exit tomorrow on rise if possible and short unitech again..
Can punjlloyd see 57.80 tomorrow .. can we place cover at that price as mkt opens ..Pl?
