Hi when a comapny announces dividend and if i would have bought the shares the previous day will i be eligible for dividend or there z particular duration to hold the shares?
Kartik, replies: Hi NEiL, after that the announce the ex-dividend date, you need to hold the stocks before the ex-dividend date, you can even buy the stock a day before the ex-dividend date for the dividend
