hi kartik... can you help me understand this? in the one month chart of tatasteel (eod chart in chartink), today's candle shows a white block (the stock moved up). but the volume stick below shows a huge red block... of 8M... i thought the block meant delivery volume - buying if green and selling if red... is my idea correct? it is showing huge selling volume today inspie of the stock moving up?
Kartik, replies: Hi sudss, the candle is white because the close is greater than the open (due to gapdown opening, the stock recovered later), the volume bar id red because the stock closed down by 1.35% (if the open would have been greater than the close, then the candle would be red)
