Options can be speculative (Hoping to make money instead of buying/selling the stock as such) or for hedging (Protecting your long positions). Depending on the volume on the stock, the stock will be included in the F&O segment. It has little or nothing to do with index stock. Exchange will specify the contract details then its betweem buyers and sellers..

Getting a error msg saying "The file link that you requested is not valid"

option 1: go long above its support level: if closing price is higher by 1-2%?
option 2: go short below its support level: if closing price is lesser by 1-2%?
