hi kartik
i am caught up in a confusion. i wanted to open an account with ventura for their lower brokerage in fno. after signing all the papers and withdrawing the package amount from my bank, now they are asking me to submit copy of my existing portfolio with another brokerage. they are saying its a new rule from nse or i will not be able to trade fno. i have never heard of such a rule and also they even started calling my friend who reffered my name to ventura asking her to make me submit these. i am worried coz they hold the power of attorney to my shares (had signed tht, which is a usual procedure). what should i do?

kartik, i think u missed my question.. really needed some guidance as time is running out... its been 2 weeks since i signed the papers and they are not opening the account without disclosing my portfolio (they told it will be open within 5-6 days)
